This is a proposed draft for discussion, not an active policy or agreement. It requires legal and issuer review and confirmation of the details flagged below before taking effect.
1. Program overview
Vaultly offers three solutions: Merchant Checkout, Corporate Prepaid and Loyalty. Merchant Checkout is designed to integrate payment choice into a merchant’s checkout. The order total is carried into a Vaultly-branded payment journey on the merchant’s website. These sample disclosures describe the proposed product; the demonstrations do not issue cards, accept funds, complete verification or enrol members in a live loyalty program.
| Feature | One-time gift card | Reloadable virtual card |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | One purchase at the participating merchant | Initial and future eligible purchases |
| Program type | Closed-loop, nonreloadable | General-purpose reloadable |
| Verification | Applicable checkout and funding checks | Identity verification required before funding or use |
| After purchase | Card is retired after use | Card can be reloaded and managed in the portal |
All gift card sales are final. Once purchased, gift cards are non-refundable. This applies to the gift card purchase itself, not the merchant’s separate return policy for goods or services or any statutory transaction-dispute rights.
2. Merchant Checkout funding methods by country
Both Merchant Checkout card options have the same proposed customer funding methods, grouped by country. These are not employee funding methods for Corporate Prepaid.
- Canada: credit card by entering your card details, credit card through Apple Pay or Google Pay, and Interac e-Transfer.
- United States: credit card by entering your card details, credit card through Apple Pay or Google Pay, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle and real-time ACH.
Country eligibility, provider approval and applicable limits govern availability. “Real-time ACH” identifies the proposed US funding option; it is not a guarantee that every load or onward transfer is immediately available.
3. Who provides each service
The merchant is responsible for the goods, fulfilment and order policies. The final program documents must identify Vaultly’s legal entity and role, the card issuer, the acceptance network and the providers responsible for funding and bank transfers. Funding-method logos do not establish issuer status or a network endorsement.
4. Costs, limits and availability of funds
Before enrolment or funding, review the approved fees and limits. Issuance, loading, reloading, transfers, foreign exchange, maintenance and closure may have charges or restrictions if disclosed in the final schedule. Unpublished amounts must not be interpreted as zero fees or unlimited usage.
Funding, pending purchases, reversals and refunds may affect the available balance. Any settlement periods, holds and release conditions must be disclosed. For the one-time card, the treatment of failed purchases and refunds after retirement requires an approved procedure.
5. Treatment of customer funds
The entities holding funds, safeguarding arrangements and any insolvency protections remain unconfirmed. No claim of FDIC, CDIC or other deposit insurance is made for Vaultly. Any future coverage statement must identify the institution, eligible funds and conditions. Do not infer insurance or a bank account from a card image or funding logo.
6. Portal, support and complaints
The reloadable-card portal is intended to provide balances, transaction records, card details and bank transfers. The current portal is a sample with fictional data. The one-time gift card does not become reloadable through portal access.
Consult the cardholder terms for the relevant program. The Help Center and Dispute Transaction page provide preview guidance. Operational support, complaints escalation and country-specific error-resolution rights must be published before customers enrol.
7. Corporate Prepaid disclosures
Corporate Prepaid is a separate solution in Canada and the United States for employee incentives, expense reimbursements and other corporate payouts. A corporate portal supports staff and payout management; an employee app supports balances, transactions, card details and transfers out.
Funds may come only from the corporation. Employees cannot add personal funds or receive external loads onto the card. Supported outbound transfer methods and program fees and limits remain to be confirmed. This program does not require a merchant checkout, and merchant settlement schedules do not determine employee payout timing.
Corporate issuer, verification, fund protection, company funding and employee card terms must be confirmed in separate program documentation before enrolment.
8. Loyalty program disclosures
Vaultly Loyalty supports customer engagement through points or visit-based earning, rewards, personalized offers and program reporting. Participating businesses shape their program and must publish the approved rules before enrolment.
- Membership: identify the program operator, eligible participants, participating locations and channels, and account requirements.
- Earning and redemption: state qualifying activity, earning rates, posting times, reward thresholds, exclusions and any redemption limits. Explain adjustments for cancellations, returns and incorrectly credited points.
- Points and rewards: disclose any expiry, transferability, cash-conversion restrictions, availability and treatment on suspension or closure. No universal points value or expiry period is established by this website.
- Costs and changes: disclose any business or member charges, program changes and required notices. See Loyalty fees and limits.
- Privacy and support: explain member data use, marketing choices and the route for missing points, redemption issues and complaints.
Loyalty points are displayed separately from payment-card funds. Sample app balances and rewards are illustrative. Published third-party research is contextual and does not establish Vaultly program performance.
Legal entities and licences; issuer and network; eligible jurisdictions; fee schedule and limits; fund custody and protection; settlement and refund processes; support and complaints contacts; any required country-specific disclosure forms.
